Q: What sets Martin Gem Collection apart from other Gemstone and Jewelry companies?  

A: Martin Gem Collection has a unique history. A large portion of our loose gemstone inventory was collected over several decades by a world renowned Doctor of Archeology, Geology, Paleontology, and in addition to these doctorate degrees he was an accomplished Gemologist. The owners Kevin and Celestia Martin have owned the collection since 2013. Since coming into possession of this extraordinary collection Kevin and Celestia have extensively studied rare gems, minerals, antique, and vintage jewelry. Martin Gem Collection has an in house Gemologist, Jewelry Designer, and Appraiser. We also, offer Gemstone and Jewelry Identification Services as well as Reiki Services.

Q: Does my purchase from Martin Gem Collection come with any certificates, reports, or guarantees?  

A: For some of our gemstones and jewelry items we do offer laboratory reports from GIA Gemological Institute of America. We offer gemstone and jewelry identification services that come with a certificate issued by us when available or a certified copy of authenticity from the original manufacturer or jeweler when possible. Since portions of our collection are very old we cannot offer any guarantees of any kind. It would be almost impossible for us to do so. However, our staff Gemologist tests gems using modern testing equipment and methods to obtain accurate results. Our Appraisals are based on Real Time Market Data from many sources. Our appraisals are approximate retail value. Please keep in mind that we cannot give you any estimates on value for insurance or resale purposes.  

Q: How do I know my Diamond purchase from Martin Gem Collection is conflict free?  

A: Martin Gem Collection is a member of the Responsible Jewelry Council which is a not for profit organization that promotes ethical and responsible social and environmental practices. Martin Gem Collection operates within the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme. We do not obtain any gems from illegitimate sources or known areas of conflict.  

Q: Can I return items that I’ve purchased on the Martin Gem Collection Website?  

A: Due to the unique nature of our items we cannot accept returns, exchanges, or issue refunds. Please read each item description carefully and contact us with any questions prior to purchase. We can cancel your order upon your request as long as it’s during the processing time for your purchase. For items under $2,500.00 our processing time is generally 3-5 days. For items over $2,500.00 our processing time is typically 5-7 days. Under no circumstances will we sell your information or display it in any way without your consent given to Martin Gem Collection by you signing a waiver for us to do so. If we would like to use a review/comment(s) written by you about our products or services on our website or any of our social media venues we will always ask permission first no exceptions. We hold your privacy in the highest regards.  

Does Martin Gem Collections Website Share the Information It Receives?  

Information about our customers is an important part of our business, and we are not in the business of selling it to others period.  With Your Consent: Other than as set out above, you will receive notice when/if we might like to use the information you provide such as reviews or comments. We will never post anything without your written consent. The only exception to this is if you (yourself) post a review or comment on our website, on our community board, or on any of our social media venues. If you post a review or comment willingly on any of our public platforms you are automatically authorizing us to use it for business purposes such as advertising and promotions. If you choose to post publicly we cannot be held liable for any of your information or posts being used/received by other parties. How Secure Is Information About Me?  

We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input. We reveal only the last four digits of your credit card numbers when confirming an order. Of course, we transmit the entire credit card number to the appropriate credit card company during order processing but we do not store this information after the transaction has cleared with the appropriate payment processing groups.  

What About Third-Party Advertisers and Links to Other Websites?  

Our site may include third-party advertising and links to other Websites. If you decide to leave the page and click on an advertisement we cannot be held liable for any information, theft, fraud, products or services not offered by, or any damages you may incur by visiting other sites. We are not responsible for any information that an advertised website may gather about you. Once you leave our site we cannot guarantee your information under the terms and conditions of this notice.  

Are Children Allowed to Use Martin Gem  

We do not sell products for purchase by children. We may sell children's products for purchase by adults. If you are under 18, you may use Martin Gem only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 18 without the consent of the child's parent or guardian.   

What if My Identity and/or Payment Methods Are Used Without My Permission?

Shipping Policies and Procedures

Orders under $2,500.00 have a processing time of 3-5 business days for payment processing. Once payment has cleared we will ship your order according to your preferred shipping method.  

Orders over $2,500.00 have a longer processing time of 5-10 business days for payment processing. Once payment has cleared we will ship your order according to your preferred shipping method.  

International and Domestic Shipping rates are based on the weight of the package. There may also be additional charges for International Shipping if any Customs, Taxes, or Other Fees apply when shipping to the specified area.  

Most orders will require a signature of receipt. We cannot deliver to P.O. Box addresses for this reason.  

For Domestic Priority, 1-Day Priority, 2-Day Priority and Standard Shipping through U.S. Postal Service we offer free shipping to all states excluding Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico.  Charges apply for the above listed states.

Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

Due to the unique nature of our one of a kind items we cannot offer returns. If you have any questions about one of our products or services please contact us prior to purchase so we may help you make the best decision.  


We cannot give refunds on any services provided such as Appraisals, Gem & Jewelry Identifications, Custom Design Services, or any of our Natural Healing Services since these services are tailored to your specific needs or requests.  

Refunds for Handcrafted Jewelry

Usually we do not offer refunds on our Handcrafted Jewelry however, if you receive a damaged item from our Handcrafted Jewelry Collection please take pictures or video immediately after unpacking your item and send them to Celestia Martin with a request for a refund. Celestia will be happy to help you get a full refund for damaged Handcrafted Jewelry items. Please send pictures or videos with you request to

Refunds on Antique or Vintage Jewelry

We cannot offer refunds, returns, or exchanges on any of the items in our Antique or Vintage Jewelry Collections. These items are from a very old previously owned private collection. 

In addition we cannot be held liable for any damages that are not noted in the individual description or attest to the accuracy or authenticity of the piece. 

We do provide the most accurate documentation according to our in house research, the original documents that came with the pieces such as reports from the original jeweler, any certifications or reports we may have from laboratories or letters from a specialized authentication source, as well as any historic photos, mining reports or additional information. 

We use modern  up to date testing methods to authenticate each piece to the best of our abilities.  

Refunds on Any Loose Gems

We cannot process refunds on any of our gemstones. A large portion was previously owned and is historic. Most gems come with documentation, photos, testing results, and reports when available. We do our best to test each gem for positive identification and validate each report given to us from laboratories we use for specialized testing or may have received from the original owner. We will be happy to provide you with any of this information prior to your purchase upon written request. You can find our request forms on our F.A.Q.’s page under forms. We do not offer exchanges of any kind since each one of our items are as unique as a fingerprint. Please contact us with any questions you may have about any of our items prior to your purchase. We’re happy to help and provide you with the information you need to make the best decision.  


We do offer cancelation of orders per your written request as long as it falls within the processing time for your purchase. 

Orders under $2,500.00 usually have a processing time of 3-5 business days.

If you wish to cancel your order we will issues the full amount of the purchase back to the original payment method used.
